Here we give some general recommendations and useful tips for travel preparations . Please inquire about the medical precautions necessary vaccinations and medical specialist before the trip.
When he decided to make a tour in the jungle, should follow the following tips:
It is better to wear pants and blouses / shirts light but long to wear something short sleeve. For the simple reason that mosquitoes have less access and branches or cobwebs may not bother you much.
a good repellent and sunscreen is absolutely necessary.
You. Will need a waterproof but can buy a simple poncho water here in Coca.
Very practical it is a small packet of wet wipes or hand sanitizer.
No you need good shoes, because in the jungle trekking will need rubber boots (which are included in the tour). In the rain can quickly develop a deep pools of water and land also remains unlit. The other reason is that fewer bugs and snakes may enter his shoes and pants when riding rubber boots. Bring also suitable for boots and sandals for leisure socks.
To be in the canoe is required to wear a jacket or a sheltered diver. When it rises to the canoe course will be hot. But when the clothes are wet in combination with wind suddenly you feel cold.
You. Absolutely need some extra batteries for your camera. On a tour to the jungle there is no electricity for several days, then, you. Should be well prepared.
It is advisable to carry a flashlight in your luggage (very practical are those that hangs on the head - so hands are free), because in Ecuador night falls early.
For a tour in tents a sleeping bag is not needed because always hot (just in case, I can put clothes are warmer at night). Still, some people may prefer to take a sleeping bag cotton or silk (like a closed sheet) to sleep in their own bed sheets.
If you. Espeta take perfect photos with wild animals nearby, you may be disappointed. Enjoy seeing the animals in their natural habits. You. Will see monkeys leaping in the trees, will see how the giant blue butterfly "Morphus" flies in the bank, will see the pink dolphin turns into the lagoon. If you focus only on a good photo, the butterfly will close its wings at the time of the photo or dolphin appears right where you are. And you have not thought about. Will be disappointed.
Anyway, I assure you that you will go home with beautiful photos. And it will be delighted with the beauty of the jungle for long.
