ITINERARY
DaY 1: AMAZON ( Misahuallí Zone)
CHECK IN: After lunch, you will wear your rubber boots and go hiking with our native guide. He will share traditional knowledge of local medicinal plants such as dragon’s blood, ginger, guayusa, and straw used for instruments, costumes and construction for the development of the community. You can swing on vines like Tarzan and take a photograph at The Great Ceibo, the Giant Amazonian tree. During this trip you will also see many spicies of birds, including woodpeckers, kingfishers, sandpipers, toucans, orioles and the famous cacique.
We will then return to the lodge to get bathsuits, towels, lifejackets and inner tubes for our late afternoon Tubing in the Pusuno River. We return to have dinner, and your guide will explain the next day’s activities.
Día 2: AMAZONÍA
After breakfast, you will take a car through the jungle. On the way, your guide will explain some of the Amazonian flora that you will see such as matapolo, chonta, myrtle, guarango, vainilla, chiriguayusa, laurel, yagual, olives, yellow cinnamon, cocoa, straw and guadúa.
You will learn how the Indigenous communities make and use their famous natural paints for crafts, pottery, clothing, hunting camouflage and special ceremonies. You will also see the diversed fauna of the Amazon including bats, catornica, paca, agouti, monkeys, tanagers, guajalitos, carachama, black guan and a variety of butterfly and insect species. Midway through the tour we will come to a giant rock formation and natural water slide, perfecting for sliding into the river! After your swim, you will enjoy a boxed lunch on the riverbank. We will then return to the lodge for a delicious supper and relax together by the campfire. we will then join a Kichwa cuisine to taste "Maito de Tilapia" and to experience the everyday lifestyle of the jungle.
Day 3: AMAZON
After breakfast, we will hike to the Napo River. We will cross a small river using the traditional Kichwa method. Across the river we will visit the Museum of Indigenous Traps - a community center that preserves the ancestral knowledge of the region and educates visitors about Kichwa and other Indigenous Amazonian cultures, featuring displays of pottery from the Kichwa Culture, one of the first forest pre-Columbian residents of the Napo River basin. This is also a good place to shop local handicrafts made from rainforest materials.
We will continue on to the Interpretation Center, managed by women from the community. They will show you Kichwa culture, crafts, songs, language, ceremonial dance, traditional costume, the traditional uses of natural resources, and how to make cassava beer. After lunch they will perform an ancient interpretation of The Sacred Stone, as experienced through Shaman visions and ayahuasca, used to purify and energize the body and the mind. We will buy handicrafts made by the young people of the community, we will enjoy a delicious Box Lunch, We will end the trip with a visit to Monkey Beach.We will take motorized canoes back to the lodge where dinner and a fire will be waiting.

Day 4: AMAZON
Breakfast. Rio Blanco Point view. In the morning we give you rubber boots and we can enjoy watching the variety of birds found in this region. After breakfast we will have to make a tour of the living forest, where our guide during the journey will make us an explanation of the different plants and if we're lucky we can see the variety of animals before they reach the Amazon River viewpoint white- afternoon return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and after a short break.
Day 5: AMAZON - QUITO
You will learn how to make chocolate.Ecuadorian chocolate is the best in the world. You will only use products from the jungle and of course you can taste your own product.
